Command Performance is an American action film from the year 2009 , directed by Dolph Lundgren , who also plays the lead role.
action
In 1991, the attempted coup on Russian President Gorbachev failed . The coup plotters are arrested. Marshal Kazov, the leader, evades his arrest by prosecutor Petrov by shooting his wife and himself. His son Oleg has to watch this helplessly.
18 years later, Petrov is President of the Russian Federation. At his request, the American pop star Venus will appear in Moscow. Petrov attends this concert with his two daughters. During the concert, terrorists storm the hall, shoot indiscriminately at the crowd and take the president, his daughters and Venus hostage. The leader of the terrorists is Oleg Kazov. First of all, he deceives the advancing security forces with a ransom demand about his real motive, revenge on Petrov.
Joe, the drummer for the opening act for Venus, escapes the terrorists because he had retired to the bathroom to smoke weed . While looking for an escape route, he witnesses preparations for the execution of two of the President's bodyguards. He intervenes and saves the life of one of the bodyguards. Together they decimate the terrorists and free Venus and the president.
But Kazov does not give up. He wires up a daughter of the president with explosives and escapes. President Petrov and Joe catch him, and while Petrov removes the explosives from his daughter, Joe and Kazov fight each other. Joe defeats Kazov, but Kazov tries with the last of his strength to detonate the bombs. Thereupon he is shot by Petrov.

The film was released on January 19, 2010 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc . In addition to the film, both versions contain a photo gallery, a making-of and a trailer as bonus material. The German FSK "KJ" version is cut.
