action

Ben "Hardball" Cutter is a mercenary who works for a US company. His new partner is Vince "Cobra" Dean, the son of his former best friend. During a mission in Trebor ( Serbia ), they pick up an arsenal and leave it to supposed blue helmet troops . But Cutter finds out that the men are actually planning to deliver weapons to the IRA . Without further ado, he and Dean destroy the camp without authorization. Cutter is fired and incurs anger from Senator McBride who was behind the deal.

After Cutter proposes to his girlfriend at home, he tries to find his daughter Mary Kate, who grew up with his ex-wife's extended family and now works as a stripper . The first meeting after 20 years doesn't exactly end in favor of the father. In the meantime, McBride has found out that Cutter has a daughter. He lures her to his villa under false promises and tries to rape her there. However, she manages to escape and steal a USB stick .

When Cutter wants to go to Mary Kate again, Dean appears. The two go to look for Cutter's daughter together. When they appear in the apartment, Mary Kate's roommates are long dead. Cutter hides Mary Kate at his home and looks for the senator's property, who, however, lets him overpower and takes him prisoner. Since Cutter's girlfriend had copied the stick, he can buy some time. However, McBride makes his way to Cutter's ranch with his men. In his absence, Cutter is able to break free and is also on his way.

Dean can only with difficulty stop the men. Cutter's girlfriend is captured and Mary Kate flees into the woods. When Cutter enters the scene, it comes to a showdown, in the course of which Dean is badly wounded and McBride and his followers die.

Reviews

After several action comedies such as The Knight from Space , Secret Agent Club and Mr. Babysitter , this is Hogan's first foray into the serious action genre. The film fell through with all the critics.

"Bad action film with wrestling star Hulk Hogan, who plunders the potential of the genre once again for a richly familiar story."

“Wrestling star Hulk Hogan takes himself seriously here for once. That backfires badly. Crude punch-it-action without meaning or understanding. "
