Reviews

James Berardinelli called Mr. Babysitter one of the "most excruciating" films of the year on ReelViews , compared to the Stop! Or my mommy shoots! look good. The script imposed too many "semi-dramatic" scenes on Hogan that he was not up to. Berardinelli advised at the end of his review to avoid the film in any case, because it is not entertainment, but "an exercise in masochism".

Jane Horwitz described the film in the Washington Post on October 13, 1993 as a "stupid" variant of the comedy Kindergarten Cop .

"The comic aiming film spoils the intended good-mood effect with its raw battle scenery and the rough cut of supposed jokes."

"Mr. In any case, Nanny is comedy slurry of the lowest kind - vile rumen humor that only boils up motifs from better, more entertaining films without understanding them, and about which only people can laugh who think it's funny to kick small dogs and blow up frogs and about the 3756th 'the golden child hits papa with the baseball bat in the soft tissues' video at 'Upps'.
