Theodor Adolf Friedrich Scharenberg (born June 2, 1820 in Neustrelitz ; † November 28, 1899 ibid) was a German lawyer who worked in Neustrelitz.

Life

Theodor Scharenberg was the eldest son of the grand ducal valet Christoph Christian Friedrich Scharenberg (1773–1842) and his wife Caroline Catharina Friederica, born in Neustrelitz . Beuthe (1794-1866). The later Grand Ducal Forest Inspector Friedrich Scharenberg was his younger brother.

From 1838 to 1842 he studied law in Berlin , Heidelberg and (from April 1841) Rostock . In Heidelberg he was a member of the Corps Guestphalia , in Rostock of the Corps Vandalia . On September 26, 1842, Scharenberg was admitted to the bar in Neustrelitz. In January 1843 he was appointed registrar and can list at the grand-ducal justice chancellery (justice chancellery registrar). At the same time he became an accountant and travel agent at the mortgage chamber for knightly goods. Four years later, Scharenberg was appointed expediting secretary and registrar at the Consistorio (consistorial secretary ). Two years later, in 1849 Scharenberg became the administrator aerii communis (administrator of the common Ärars ) Ducal patronage churches called. On September 14, 1856, Scharenberg was promoted to law office secretary. On September 11th of this year he resigned from his position as calculator of the aerii communis of the Grand Ducal Patronage Churches . In March 1873 Scharenberg was appointed church visitation secretary for Mecklenburg-Strelitz. In September 1879, Scharenberg became district court secretary in Neustrelitz and at the same time second mortgage custodian, registrar and extender at the Grand Ducal Mortgage Chamber for Land estates in Neustrelitz. On November 10, 1896, Scharenberg resigned from his position as a notary .

In over 53 years of official office, Scharenberg obtained the titles of Grand Ducal Mecklenburg-Strelitzscher Rath (1868), Hofrath (1879) and the title of Privy Councilor (1893) on his 50th anniversary .

Theodor Scharenberg had been married to the Rostock lawyer daughter Clara Beselin (1822-1893) since 1843 and had six children, including Fritz Scharenberg , who later became the judge of Neubrandenburg .
