Theodor Scheffer-Boichorst (born December 13, 1819 in Münster , † October 20, 1898 ibid) was a German politician .

Life

After high school in Arnsberg , he studied law in Bonn from 1839 . At the beginning of his studies he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Bonn . Until 1864 he worked in the judicial service, most recently as a court assessor in Münster. From 1864 to 1866 he headed the city ​​council of Münster. From 1866 to 1874 and from 1875 to 1879 he was a member of the municipal authorities in Münster. As successor to Caspar Offenberg , he was Lord Mayor of Münster from 1879 to 1886. He then lived there as a reindeer . In addition, he was president of the Westphalian Provincial Association for Science and Art.

From 1859 to 1861 and 1862/63 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1879 to 1886 he was the Lord Mayor of the Prussian mansion . From 1887 to 1892 he was a member of the Westphalian Provincial Parliament .
