Theodor Schwenk (born October 8, 1910 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ; † September 29, 1986 in Filderstadt ) was a German engineer and founder of " anthroposophically expanded flow and water research".

Life and work

The son of a physics and engineering teacher studied swing in Stuttgart engineering . With the anthroposophy he came through a contact of his father with the Anthroposophists and chemist Wilhelm Pelikan in contact. In 1937 he received an assistant position at the aerodynamic research institute in Göttingen . In 1938 he married Else Grimminger from Gmünd; the marriage resulted in four children. In 1946 he accepted a position as a research assistant at Weleda AG in Schwäbisch Gmünd .

Schwenk further developed Lili Koliskos' image-creating methods (rising image method and growth experiments with wheat germ in potentised solutions) and discovered the influences of planetary constellations on pure water. This work resulted in his book The Sensible Chaos and the Drip Image Method , in which drops of distilled water fall into the water sample every five seconds and, depending on their quality, more complicated or simpler, rosette-like structures form. After 1960 he set up the Institute for Flow Sciences in Herrischried , which he headed until 1976 .
