In addition to two Greek championships (2002, 2005), Baef also won three trophies (2002, 2004, 2005) and the Greek Supercup (2005). During the same period, Baef and his club qualified twice for the Final Four tournament of the Indesit European Champions League at European level . In 2005, Iraklis had the most successful season and finished second in the highest European volleyball competition. Just a few months later, Baef, who was now the team captain of Iraklis Thessaloniki, moved to Panathinaikos Athens . In his first season in Athens , Baef was able to win the championship and the Supercup again. In addition, Baef qualified for the Final Four tournament of the Top Teams Cup and achieved third place with Panathinaikos.
After Theodoros Baef played for the junior team of Greece and reached several fifth places with this at the European Championships and the 1995 World Cup in Malaysia , he had been an integral part of the Greek men's national team since 1995 . He made his debut in a 3-0 win over Latvia in Athens .
