Theresienfeld is a district of the city of Arzberg in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge , which is located near the state road 2176 on the eastern foothills of the Kohlberg . The hamlet is located about two and a half kilometers southeast of the Arzberg town center. Heiligenfurt connects directly to the south .
The settlement was founded around 1837 and was named after the Bavarian Queen Therese . The “Reuthgütlein” was probably initially a clearing site in the forest and belonged to the then Haid community .
