This Ain't Avatar XXX is a porn film by Hustler . It is part of the This Ain't series ... and, according to Hustler, the company's most technically complex and expensive porn film to date. The film is a parody of James Cameron's Avatar - Departure for Pandora . Like the original film, it was shot with 3D effects . It is therefore the first porn film (release: September 28, 2010) that was produced entirely in 3D. The director of the film is Axel Braun .

After the plot of the original film ends, Jake stays on "Panwhora," as the planet is called in the porn version. Shortly thereafter, a videologue by Jake appears in which he reveals that the Na'bi people (in the original Na'bi) have a dark side. Some flashbacks to various sex scenes follow. Original scenes from the film are taken up. It turns out that the Na'bi have a sex fetish and need the people who stayed there for their orgies. The film ends with a gigantic orgy. The following sex scenes are shown in the flashbacks:

In the end it turns out that Panwhoria is actually the earth of the future, a reference to the planet of the apes .

In fact, the idea for the porn version was based on a joke Axel Braun uttered to producers Drew Rosenfeld and Rob Smith while making other suggestions. However, the idea was well received by both of them and so it was decided to shoot the film in 3D as well. Marc Star, who has already worked with Axel Braun several times, was commissioned with the script. The 3D effects were implemented by SLX Rentals & Sales.

Chris Johnson took on the lead role as "Jake," based on the character played by Sam Worthington . Nicki Hunter also plays "Grace", originally embodied by Sigourney Weaver . The norm played by Joel David Moore also finds its equivalent in the porn version with Eric Swiss . The two Na'bi Mo'at and Tsu'tey are played by Lexington Steele and Chanel Preston.

According to media reports, the film was sold out worldwide within just two days of its release on September 28, 2010. This affected both the first edition of the DVD and Blu-ray version in the USA and Europe.

The high production costs result from the fact that original costumes as well as some makeup and body paint were used. In addition, numerous computer effects and 3D filming had to be applied. This also made the days of filming longer and correspondingly more expensive.

Due to the great success of the film, the director shot a second part in 2012 called This Ain't Avatar XXX 2 - Escape from Pandwhora . Actors are: Adriana Sephora, Billy Glide, Brad Tyler, Chris Johnson, Kelly Hellfire, Mia Lelani, Rachel Roxxx, Victoria Lawson and Yurizan Beltran.

X-Critic's Don Houston was disappointed with the film. In particular, the film is produced in a technically complex manner, but this does not reach the consumer. Instead of the new 3D process, the outdated stereo display process was used. In addition, the film would have been shot much too dark in many places. Apart from the end, the story would not be worth mentioning either.
