This Is Love is a single from the album #willpower by the American rapper will.i.am, which was released in early 2013 . The song was written and recorded by himself. The single, which Adams recorded with the singer Eva Simons , was released in Germany on August 3, 2012. The music video edited by Adams was released on May 25, 2012 in the United States.

The song was co-produced by Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. The production of the song started in December 2011, but ultimately the recordings would have taken place on Adam's laptop. Eva Simons spoke about William Adams on MTV:

He is super creative, and we kind of have the same energy: We can't sit still. We were in the studio, and he had this track, and he's like, 'Yo, Eva, would you like to do this song with me?' And we had been recording a couple tracks before, so he knows what I'm capable of and he trusts me, and we don't really know each other for that long, but he trusts me. I recorded it, and he mixes it straight away from his laptop ... and it's done. That's so beautiful - not only is he super creative and knows what he wants, but he also sees when other people are creative as well. He's not afraid to collaborate.

He's super creative, we have the same kind of energy. We cannot sit still. We were in the studio and he asked me, 'Yo, Eva, would you record this song with me?' We had recorded a few songs beforehand so he knew what I was capable of. We hadn't known each other too long, but he trusted me nonetheless. I recorded my verses and he just mixed up on his laptop ... that's what happened. It's so wonderful - not only is he totally creative and knows what he wants, he also sees when other people are creative. He's not afraid to collaborate with other artists.

Music video

The music video for This Is Love was released on May 25, 2012. It was shot in London and shows the South Bank known from Harry Potter . At the beginning of the video you can see Adams playing the piano near Tower Bridge . The Thames can be seen in the background. When the chorus comes, scenes are shown in a club where singer Eva Simons can also be seen.
