Life
Born in the Frankfurt district of Griesheim , Bäppler initially trained as a dance teacher . In 1990 he founded the Bäppler dance school in Frankfurt, where he slipped into the role of the travesty artist on special occasions.
In 1993 he created the character " Bäppi la Belle " and founded the TiTS Theater. With recitals ( Bertolt Brecht / Kurt Weill ) and later with full-length solo shows, he succeeded in making the TiTS Theater a popular theater in Frankfurt and attracting national attention. The show "Angela du goldisch Maus" , a show about Chancellor Angela Merkel , ran for two years in the TiTS Theater until it ended in December 2007. The TiTS Theater was renamed Theatrallalla Theater in 2008. The show: “Saturdays there’s thick 'supp” was the autumn 2008 program. The book of the same name with 90 recipes from Hessian celebrities was written together with Sibylle Nicolai and was published in October 2008.
In addition to his appearances as a travesty artist, Bäppler worked as a choreographer for rock and pop music . He is also the session president of the Frankfurt “Rainbow Session ” , an annual carnival event organized by homosexuals for homosexuals and straight people.
