Thomas Binotto (born July 7, 1966 in Baden ) is a Swiss Catholic journalist , editor-in-chief , publicist , film critic and speaker .

education

Thomas Binotto studied philosophy , ancient German literature and medieval history at the University of Zurich from 1987 to 1993 , where he graduated with a licentiate in philosophy (lic.phil I).

Professional

From 1993 to 1994 Binotto was editor of the Catholic illustrated magazine Sonntag, 1994–1997 after a few months as a freelance journalist and editor of a parish newspaper. From 1997 to 2000 he worked as the webmaster of the website of the Roman Catholic Church in Switzerland .
