Life

After a classical piano training and a photography apprenticeship in Stuttgart, Thomas Eichenbrenner worked for several years as a photographer in Munich and later in Berlin.

In the mid-1970s he returned to Munich and devoted himself as a career changer and self-taught to the composition of dramaturgically relevant music. He wrote music for radio plays (BR), stage music ( Münchner Volkstheater ) and socially critical chansons , which were performed in cabarets in Munich by various artists, including himself a. a. with Robert Fischer on bass.

In 1983 he started writing film music . His instrumental compositions are characterized by a concert style, classical style, played by small ensembles, chamber orchestras up to large symphony orchestras .

He later developed concepts for music libraries ( production music ) using the latest digital technology ( sampling ) and produced them. These compositions are also recorded in the classical concert style ( concert pieces ). In 1989 he released his first of eight albums with Production Music . From the mid-1990s, he wrote and produced special relaxation music in addition to the other categories , also with echoes of classical music. In 1996 his first of eleven albums was released.
