Thomas Francis Doran (born October 4, 1856 in Barrington , Rhode Island , USA , † January 3, 1916 ) was auxiliary bishop in Providence .

Life

Thomas Francis Doran received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Providence on July 4, 1880 .

On February 26, 1915, Pope Benedict XV appointed him . the titular bishop of Halicarnassus and auxiliary bishop in Providence. The Bishop of Providence, Matthew Harkins , donated to him on April 28 of that year, the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Portland , Louis Sebastian Walsh , and the Bishop of Des Moines , Austin Dowling .
