Career

As a player

Grumser started his career at FC Wacker Innsbruck . In 1994 he moved to FC Tirol Innsbruck . He made his Bundesliga debut for Tyrol Innsbruck in June 1997 against ASK Linz . In the 1999/2000 season he was also a cooperation player for WSG Wattens . From January to July 2001 it was also awarded to the Wattener. After the dissolution of Tirol Innsbruck, he moved to the second division SV Wörgl in 2002 . For the 2003/04 season he joined FC Lustenau 07 . From summer 2004 to January 2005 he played for SC Untersiebenbrunn . In 2005 he played for the Bundesliga club ASKÖ Pasching , for which he did not, however, complete an assignment. In summer 2005 he returned to regional division WSG Wattens. From 2008 to 2011 he let his career end with the amateurs of Wacker Innsbruck .

As a trainer

Grumser worked as a youth coach at WSG Wattens from 2007 to 2008 . After his career as a player he became assistant coach for the amateurs of Innsbruck. After Werner Löberbauer had taken over the professionals on an interim basis, Grumser acted as head coach of Innsbruck II in one game, after which he became assistant coach again. For the 2013/14 season he became a permanent coach of Wacker II. In April 2016, Grumser received his A license as a coach. After separating from Maurizio Jacobacci in September 2016, Grumser became the interim head coach of the professionals. In October 2016 he was finally appointed head coach until the winter break of the 2016/17 season. In the winter break of 2016/17, Karl Daxbacher took over the post from Grumser and he was again coach of the amateur team. With this he rose in 2018, after the first team was promoted to the Bundesliga , as eighth of the table in the Regionalliga West in the 2nd division , after no other club had applied for a license for the Bundesliga.

In March 2019, after Daxbacher's release, he was promoted back to coach of the first team. After the end of the 2019/20 season , Grumser was replaced by Daniel Bierofka .
