From 1998 the club played in the first division . There, Höller developed into a regular player. Even after promotion to the Bundesliga he remained a regular player. He made his debut there on November 17, 2001, when he was on the starting line-up in FC's 2-1 defeat against SV Ried . In 2002 he made two short appearances in the national team . After the relegation of FC Kärnten in 2004, he moved to SW Bregenz and after a year to SK St. Andrä / WAC , where he only made regular appearances in the second team. After a six-month engagement with SV Ruden in the Ost Unterliga, he returned to the First League in January 2008, where he signed a contract with SV Bad Aussee .

Since 2009 he has been back at his home club, the Carinthian division SVG Bleiburg.
