Thomas Franz Höller (born June 2, 1976 in Wolfsberg ) is a former Austrian soccer player and current coach .
Career
In 1997 Thomas Höller moved from SVG Bleiburg to the then regional league team SK Austria Klagenfurt , which has been playing as FC Kärnten since 1999 . From 1998 the club played in the first division . There, Höller developed into a regular player. Even after promotion to the Bundesliga he remained a regular player. He made his debut there on November 17, 2001, when he was on the starting line-up in FC's 2-1 defeat against SV Ried . In 2002 he made two short appearances in the national team . He made his debut on March 27 in the friendly against Slovakia , when he came on for Jürgen Panis in the 76th minute . On April 17, 2002, he came on again for Panis in the friendly against Cameroon in the 89th minute.
After the relegation of FC Kärnten in 2004, he moved to SW Bregenz and after a year to SK St. Andrä / WAC , where he only made regular appearances in the second team. After a six-month engagement with SV Ruden in the Ost Unterliga, he returned to the First League in January 2008, where he signed a contract with SV Bad Aussee .
Since 2009 he has been back at his home club, the Carinthian division SVG Bleiburg. In the course of this change he was sentenced to a fine because he is said to have previously signed a contract with SV Griffen. Since March 2010, Höller was also the Bleiburg coach. In January 2012 he moved to SV Ruden, in July 2012 to ASKÖ Mittlern.
