Thomas Heinemann (* 1958 in Herrsching am Ammersee ) is a German director and author .

Life

Thomas Heinemann wrote his first plays and skits at the age of twelve for the Basel Children's Theater. In 1985 Heinemann opened in Würzburg the only children's theater in the Federal Republic of Germany in the Kästner sense, children play for children .
