Thomas Pkemei Longosiwa (born January 14, 1982 in the West Pokot District , according to other information on May 14, 1988 in West Pokot) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .

In the junior race of the World Cross Country Championships in Fukuoka in 2006 he came in 13th place, but was subsequently disqualified when he was convicted a few months later in the run-up to the Junior World Athletics Championships in Beijing for having given a wrong date of birth with the help of a second passport. Longosiwa was briefly arrested and eventually fined $ 1,500.

In 2007 he qualified as Kenyan champion over 5000 m for the Africa Games in Algiers, where he finished sixth over the same distance. In 2008 he qualified as third in the Kenyan eliminations for the 5000-meter run of the Beijing Olympic Games , in which he was twelfth.

At the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, he was sixth over 5000 m.

Longosiwa, who is 1.70 meters tall and trained by Renato Canova , starts at club level for Kenya Prisons . He was also part of the Kenyan team for the 2012 Summer Olympics and achieved bronze medal on the 5,000 meter course in London with a time of 13: 42.36 minutes in the Olympic final.
