Thomas Weber (born June 7, 1987 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Weber starts his handball career as a backcourt player at Alpla HC Hard . In his youth, the Bregenz native was also called up in the youth national team. In 2006 , the 1.80 meter tall athlete moved to Vienna for SG Handball West Vienna , during which time he was increasingly used as the left wing. Weber has been playing with his youth club again since the 2012/2013 season .

Weber was in the preparatory squad of the Austrian national handball team for the 2015 men's handball world championship .

Private

Thomas Weber's brother Robert is also an active handball player. The right winger played until the season 2007/08 also at Alpla HC Hard and the German Handball League season review 2008/09 for HBW Balingen-Weilstetten since running left-handed for the SC Magdeburg on.
