Thor (comic)
Thor is a cartoon character from the Marvel Universe. The superhero character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in Journey Into Mystery # 83 in 1962 .

The character of the figure is based on Thor, the god of thunder . Many of its characteristics and history have been borrowed from Norse mythology . Like the god of Norse mythology, he is also the son of the god father Odin and Forjgyn in the comic , who gives him his powers as Asathor. He also has the Mjolnir hammer as a weapon .
Thor is a giant , with his height of 1.98 m and weight of 290 kg he has an extraordinary strength. He is a member of the Avengers . The god of thunder was exiled to earth by his father Odin as punishment for disregarding the non-interference pact of the earthly gods in Marvel reality . Here he had to spend many years without a memory as the physically handicapped doctor Dr. Don Blake worked until he found the hammer disguised as a stick and discovered its secret. From then on he led the double life Thor / Dr. Don Blake, until Odin let the power of transformation pass to Beta Ray Bill. For a short time, Thor then had the dual identity of Sigurd Jarlson, camouflaged only by civilian clothes, ponytail hairstyle and glasses (jokingly, the cartoonists had Jarlson bumped into Clark Kent when he first appeared). One day when Thor was near death, the mysterious Marnot gave him the chance to go on living. As a condition for this, Thor had to continue the life of paramedic Jake Olsen. Beta Ray Bill is an alien who proves worthy enough to raise Mjolnir. He carries the hammer for a while while Thor tries to get it back. Eventually the two reconcile and Beta Ray Bill receives its own hammer, the Stormbreaker .
Here, too, a female form of Thor (Tarena) appears, a woman from the earth, who is inspired by Thor's stories. On the way to her power, she goes to great lengths to become an Asin and eventually manages to be and is appointed by Thor as the guardian of the earth.
In autumn 2014, with the relaunch of the Thor series, a female heroine will wear Mjolnir for the first time. While the original Thor proves to be unworthy, she assumes the role of the goddess of thunder until the moment when Thor regains his respect for Mjolnir. The identity was unknown for a long time, but in Thor (vol. 4) # 8 (2015) it was revealed that it was Dr. Jane Foster acts.

Film adaptations
Back in 1988, Thor had a supporting role in a television movie about the Hulk. In 2006, Thor was portrayed in an animated film for the Avengers. As of 2011, Thor started in the Marvel Cinematic Universe , portrayed by Chris Hemsworth . In addition to three solo films, Hemsworth appeared in four Avengers productions.
