Ultimate Avengers - The Movie is an animated cartoon released direct-to-DVD in early 2006 . Produced by Marvel Enterprises , it is distributed by Lions Gate Entertainment and published in Germany by NewKSM .

In the last days of the Second World War , a group of Nazi scientists planned a devastating rocket launch on the USA, but at the last moment Captain America managed to prevent it. Put in battle by the group of scientists who reveal themselves here as extraterrestrial shape-shifters, he falls into the sea and is frozen. Years later, General Fury and his organization SHIELD manage to find Captain America and bring him back to life. In the hands of scientists Betty Ross and Bruce Banner, his recovery is proceeding rapidly. Banner, who is tasked with creating more super soldiers from the blood of Captain America, has plans of his own and is trying to get his Hulk state under control. Meanwhile, SHIELD succeeds in positioning a satellite to locate the aliens who have been spying on Earth since then. This succeeds first, but shortly after its installation the satellite is destroyed by the shape converters, which then set out to find and destroy SHIELD. Fury meanwhile gathers a group of heroes around him, whose recruitment proves to be quite difficult at times. After the aliens have located SHIELD, a fight begins. First the superheroes manage to destroy the aliens together with Bruce Banner, who has been transformed into a Hulk, then they have to take down the Hulk, whose self-control serum does not work. It succeeds and the world will be saved.
