Thorsten Langer (born April 26, 1971 ) is a Belgian biathlete , cross duathlete and cross-country skier .

Thorsten Langer began his biathlon career only at the age of 30. He contested his first international race at the 2001 Military World Championships in Jericho (74th). The sports soldier contested his first race in the biathlon world cup at the beginning of the 2001/02 season as 118th in the sprint of Hochfilzen . His first result in the top 100 he achieved in the same season as 96 in the individual from Antholz . Further missions followed sporadically. Since 2004/05 Langer started mainly in the Biathlon European Cup . He made his debut in a single race in GeiloHe finished as 51st. The highlight of the season was participation in the 2005 biathlon world championships in Hochfilzen. His results were all in the lower ranks. In the 2005/06 season he achieved his best World Cup result as 89th in the Antholz sprint. In the same place he also achieved his best results at a World Cup at the 2007 Biathlon World Championships . He was 102nd in the individual and 94th in the sprint.

Thorsten Langer is multiple Belgian champion in cross-country skiing.

Langer comes from Elsenborn and lives in Recht . Stephan Langer is his brother.
