Thorsten Trantow

Thorsten Trantow (born May 29, 1975 in Ettenheim ). State Certified graphic designer works as a freelance illustrator , cartoonist and comic artist in his studio in Herbolzheim near Freiburg im Breisgau .

Trantow has been drawing for several years on behalf of the German Children's Fund . a. his two comic series "Gustafson" and "Popel". The Federal Agency for Nature Conservation has been organizing competitions with the draftsman for a few years. In spring 2008 there was a joint action with the cartoonist for the 9th UN Nature Conservation Conference. The campaign with the artist and his works took place in Europe and Canada. Some illustrations have appeared in various school and non-fiction books so far. He is the inventor and creator of the comic figure "Linus" from the children's poster magazine "Galino".
