The depth of the lake is north of the Great Lakes of Mecklenburg Lake District lying lake in the district of Mecklenburg Lake District , Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . It is located in the northern municipality of Jabel and in the southern municipality of Klocksin . It has an approximate length of 1550 meters and an approximate width of 800 meters. With a depth of almost 63 meters, the lake is the deepest lake only in Mecklenburg. It is embedded in the terminal moraine landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland . This forest and hilly area reaches a height of 91 m above sea level northwest of the lake. HN. The lake belongs to the Loppiner-Klocksiner chain of lakes, which stretches between the larger lakes Malchiner See and Fleesensee / Kölpinsee in an ice-age meltwater channel, so only narrow land bridges separate the lake from the Hofsee and the Flachen See. The lake lies at the intersection of the two nature parks Mecklenburgische Schweiz and Kummerower See and Nossentiner / Schwinzer Heide . The edge of the river is almost entirely wooded.
