Tielko Tilemann

Tielko Tilemann (* 1923 in Oldenburg ; † November 27, 2014 in Lüneburg ) was a German Protestant theologian . From 1979 to 1988 he was regional superintendent of the Lüneburg district of the Evangelical Lutheran regional church of Hanover .

Life

Tielko Tilemann studied from 1946 in Kiel , Tübingen and Göttingen Protestant theology . He spent his vicariate in an apprentice home of the Inner Mission and in the parish of Celle-Neuenhäusen. After his time at the preachers' seminary in Loccum and the second theological exam, he was pastor in what was then the GDR for five years . From 1958 Tilemann was involved in setting up the parish vicar seminar in Hermannsburg / Celle and worked there as a lecturer in doctrine of the faith. In 1964 he became state representative for men's work in the regional church of Hanover in the office for community service . In 1970 Tielko Tilemann became superintendent of the Emsland-Bentheim parish, where he played a decisive role in the establishment of the Emlichheim youth education center and the Frenswegen monastery ecumenical conference and education center . From 1979 until his retirement he worked as state superintendent of the district of Lüneburg. Tilemann was also u. a. Active as chairman of the public committee of the 18th regional synod of the Hanoverian regional church, member of the regional synodal committee of the 19th regional synod and member of the synod of the confederation of Protestant churches in Lower Saxony .

Tielko Tilemann was widowed and has three daughters.
