Dieter Rathing
Diether Rathing (born December 20, 1956 in Aerzen ) is a German Protestant theologian . Since 2011 he has been state superintendent for the Lüneburg district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover .
Life
Dieter Rathing studied Protestant theology in Tübingen and Göttingen and was vicar in Stade . In 1986 he took on his first pastor's position in the St Wilhadi parish in Stade . In 1994 he went to Osnabrück as a pastor and became a pastor at St. Marienkirche. In 2001 he was appointed superintendent of the Verden church district . Dieter Rathing has been state superintendent of the Lüneburg district since 2011. Rathing has been chairman of the board of the Evangelical Village Helpers in Lower Saxony since 2013 .
