Tierparkgeschichten is a TV series from the GDR . It was broadcast in seven parts in one season.
Content description
The Hoegersund zoo with director Wolfgang Mattke and his employees, such as veterinarian Dr. Mehl, the zoo keeper Claudia Herzberg, colleague Willi and his new deputy Klaus Bender, who is supposed to relieve the director, experience many adventures: A young deer injured in the forest by carelessly thrown garbage, the sixtieth birthday of director Mattke and the Mr Bender's dispute with the keepers creates tension around the animals.
The series was shot in the zoos in Hoyerswerda , Eberswalde and Stralsund . The fancy name Hoegersund was formed from the names of these cities.
