Holger Franke (born May 2, 1955 in Dresden ) is a German actor .

Life

Holger Franke received vocal training at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden and from 1976 studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . Three years later he was engaged for a total of 14 productions on the stages of Magdeburg and from 1984 played at the theater in Wittenberg .

From 1985 on, Holger Franke played 15 episodes of the crime series Polizeiruf 110 and in 1999 was the first director of ten episodes of the daily soap Verbotene Liebe . In the second episode of the crime series Wolffs Revier he is visible as a hotel employee, as well as in the Alarm für Cobra 11 episode Mysterious Power as an officer from the LKA (Gehricke). From the start of the RTL series Unter Uns on November 28, 1994 to November 27, 2009, he played Wolfgang Weigel , the bakery owner at Schillerallee 10 in Cologne , for 15 years . His contract was not renewed. From 2010 to 2012 Franke played the supporting role of chauffeur Kurt Schiller in Verbotene Liebe .

Holger Franke lives in Monheim am Rhein , is divorced and has two sons and a daughter.
