Tiffany Dawn Thornton (born February 14, 1986 in College Station , Texas ) is an American actress and singer . Thornton has an older brother and is best known for her role as Tawni Hart in Sonny Munroe . She also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie KikeriPete and also made several appearances on Disney series such as Hannah Montana , Raven Looks Through and The Wizards of Waverly Place .
Life
In December 2009, Thornton got engaged to boyfriend Christopher Carney. The couple were married on November 12, 2011 in Garvan Woodland Gardens ( Hot Springs National Park ). One of the bridesmaids was Demi Lovato , who also caught the bridal bouquet.
Thornton is mother of one son (* 2012). His godmother is the actress Cassie Scerbo . In 2014 she became the mother of another boy. Her husband Chris Carney died in a car accident in early December 2015.
Career
Thornton made her TV debut in the 2004 pilot of the Fox sitcom Quintuplets . From then on she appeared in guest roles in various series, such as My Wild Daughters , American Dreams , OC, California , Desperate Housewives , Raven Looks Through , Jericho - The Attack , The Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana . In 2009 she had her first leading role in a series in the role of Tawni Hart in Sonny Munroe . In 2011 she took over the spin-off of the series, Such a coincidence! , again starring Tawni .
