Till Burger (born March 7, 1913 in Munich ; † March 28, 1971 there ) was a German criminal defense attorney .

Life

Till Burger studied law at Oxford University and worked as a criminal defense lawyer in Munich. In 1956, Burger filed a criminal complaint against the Bundeswehr for two Munich citizens for singing a marching song in a residential area . Burger was the chairman of the prisoners' aid association The Refuge .

Burger was found dead in his apartment in Bogenhausen on the afternoon of March 28, 1971 . An autopsy identified him as a victim of carbon monoxide and tablet poisoning.
