Career

The son of long-time first division player Bernd Dierßen has been playing for Hannover 96 since 2007 and went through all the youth teams up to the U23 , where he was included in the squad in mid-2013. Also in 2013 he was accepted into the Bundesliga squad together with his teammate Valmir Sulejmani , although both were also eligible to play for the U-19 team. Dierßen made his professional debut on April 25, 2014, the 32nd matchday of the 2013/14 season , when he came on for Szabolcs Huszti in the 92nd minute in the home game against VfB Stuttgart (0-0) .

On September 14, 2016, Dierßen was transferred to the second team together with Sulejmani and Marius Wolf by then coach Daniel Stendel . In the course of the 2018/19 season , Dierßen was reassigned to the professional squad by coach André Breitenreiter . On January 26, 2019, Dierßen came to his first competitive appearance in the first team since May 2015 in a 1: 5 defeat at Borussia Dortmund , the last game by coach Breitenreiter. After the season he left the club with the end of his contract.

After half a year without a club, the midfielder received a one and a half year contract with the regional league team Kickers Offenbach in January 2020 .
