Tim Gailus
Tim Gailus (born March 26, 1988 in Rendsburg ) is a German television presenter , reporter , audio book speaker and editor .
Life
Tim Gailus grew up in Schleswig-Holstein. In 2008 he completed his Abitur at the Helene-Lange-Gymnasium in Rendsburg . After graduating from high school, Gailus did various internships (including at Radio NORA ) and worked as a student assistant at the Kiel Radio Center . Since 2009 Gailus has been studying media management at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media . In 2012 he completed his studies with a Bachelor of Arts. He became known as a science slammer with his scientific work on advertising effects on primary school children and on media history . Since 2016 he has been a reading ambassador for the Reading Foundation .
Tim Gailus has been the presenter and reporter for the children's knowledge program Timster at KiKA since 2015 . He also appears as a jury member in reading competitions. In addition, Gailus moderates events across Germany. He was voiceover and moderator of the radio play podcast Talker Lounge .
