Talker Lounge

The “Talker Lounge” is a German-language podcast that has existed since 2012 and deals with the commercial radio play . The moderation changes between Xenia, Sabrina, Sven and Jan. The podcast was initially called “The Speakers” and was renamed “Talker Lounge” after episode 14. To date (as of June 2020) 143 programs have appeared. Some episodes ran on the FM station Radio Leinehertz 106.5 . The driving forces behind the project are Florian Michael Kröger and Marc Bohnert .

In each program, the team always reviews two radio plays. Xenia reports in the "News from the radio play world" what has recently happened in the radio play scene. The cassette children Sven and Tim give tips on buying the latest radio play media. In the “Hall of Fame”, the project honors a deceased personality from the radio play field per broadcast. The show relies heavily on comedy and entertainment elements.

In every issue there is an interview with an actor or voice actor.

Public performances

The Talker Lounge has been an integral part of the Hörmich radio play fair in Hanover since 2016 with its own stage panel .

Personalities in the team

TV presenter Tim Gailus hosted the podcast. The speakers and dubbing actors Benjamin Stolz , Katharina von Daake , Martin Sabel , Bettina Zech , Dagmar Bittner can be heard as speakers on the show.

Awards

In 2013, the Talker Lounge won 3rd place at the European Podcast Award in the "Germany - Non Profit" category and 13th place in "Europe - Non Profit".

The final ratings of the reviews are always subject to the participants and their number, because the line-up and size of the team fluctuate with each program.
