Tim Kasper (born February 18, 1992 in Cologne ) is a German former basketball player .

Life

Tim Kasper grew up in Cologne, where he first attended a comprehensive school before moving to the Schloss Hagerhof high school in 2009 .

After studying for four years in Worcester , Massachusetts , he has been living in the Dutch capital Amsterdam since 2016 , where he says he is self-employed , primarily in the areas of video production and photography . He frequently publishes his works under the pseudonym "tmkspr" .

Basketball career

TV Bensberg

In 2000 he began playing basketball in the youth of TV Bensberg , where he played a total of six seasons. After his last year in the U16 he moved to the NBBL team at Dragons Rhöndorf in Bad Honnef .

Dragons Rhondorf

From 2008 to 2011 Tim Kasper played for the NBBL team of Dragons Rhöndorf , where he was able to participate in the NBBL All-Star Game in his last season . In the same season he was also the third youngest player in the league for the ProA team of the Dragons. At the side of Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann and Fabian Thülig , he played with his team to stay up.

In Kaspers last year with the Dragons he started in the ProB , where his team was eliminated from the playoffs against SG Braunschweig around the duo of the later NBA players Dennis Schröder and Daniel Theis . After his second professional season with the Dragons, he moved to the Assumption Greyhounds on the American east coast.

Assumption Greyhounds

Between 2012 and 2016, Kasper played for the Greyhounds in the second division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association at Assumption College in Worcester , Massachusetts .

After basketball

After studying marketing in the USA, Kasper moved back to Europe to complete his master's degree in marketing at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam . While still a student in the US, he began working as a freelancer to write and produce scripts for videos and advertising. In addition to his work behind the camera, Tim Kasper is also active as a model in front of the camera. After he was discovered by a scout in Los Angeles in 2016 , he was under contract with the Dutch agency EvD Agency.
