Tim Siekmann (born August 20, 1988 in Neuwied ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who played for the Iserlohn Roosters in the German Ice Hockey League from 2010 to the end of 2012 . He is also eligible to play for the cooperation partner Lippe-Hockey-Hamm from the Oberliga West .

Career

Tim Siekmann started ice hockey at EHC Neuwied and made it to the first team of his home club for the 2006/07 regional league season . He played 16 games. In the next year he helped with the promotion from the state league to the association league, since the first team had switched to the NRW group and had to start in sixth class. In the 2008/09 season the renewed promotion followed, so that the EHC Neuwied played again in the Regionalliga. In the next year Siekmann managed to stay up with the EHC. In the summer of 2010, the goalkeeper moved to Lippe-Hockey-Hamm in the Oberliga West and received a license for the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League . Siekmann should train and play in Hamm and be available as the third goalkeeper for the Iserlohn team. After the Roosters signed Manny Legace and the contracts of their goalkeeping duo Danny from the Birken and Siniša Martinović dissolved in November, he became the number two of the Sauerland . On November 21, 2010, the Stanley Cup winner from 2002 injured himself during a game against the Kölner Haie at the beginning of the third period and had to be treated briefly. Siekmann came to his first DEL game in which he saved three out of four shots in five minutes. In December 2012, he asked those responsible for the Iserlohn Roosters to terminate his contract.

Since the 2013/14 season Siekmann is as an attacking football -Mittelfeldspieler at TuS Fortuna Kottenheim active and compete in the District League A Rhein / Ahr.
