Tima the Divine
Tima the Divine (born December 30, 1965 as Marcus Timo Schrader in Munich ) is a German actor, singer, tailor, author and travesty artist . She describes herself as a politician . As an actor, she also appears under the name Timo Lewandovsky . She has lived and worked in Berlin-Wedding since 1983 .
Career
Tima the Divine became known through her participation in numerous films by Rosa von Praunheim , including the role of transsexual domestic servant Dorchen in Der Einstein des Sex and the documentary Tunten Don't Lie , in which she, Ovo Maltine , BeV StroganoV and Ichgola Androgyn to be portrayed.
Tima the Divine has been on stage since 1984, plays theater, sings, writes her own pieces, songs, poems and short stories and directs . She belonged to the queer ensemble "Ladies Neid". Thanks to her professional training as a tailor, she also sews many of her costumes herself and organizes extravagant fashion shows. Since 2002 she has also participated in art exhibitions, where she presented figures in historical costumes. For the exhibition on Rosa von Praunheim's 70th birthday, she also created life-size Charlotte von Mahlsdorf (is now in the O-Tonart Theater) and the 4 queer friends with whom she acted in several films. Due to the continuous leading role in Berlin Bohème , a television series by Andreas Weiß , she is also listed in the lexicon of German soaps by Jovan Evermann, the still photographer of Berlin Bohème .
On October 27, 2004 Tima the Divine celebrated the 20th stage anniversary with a big revue in the Berlin ufaFabrik . Among the numerous guests who congratulated them on this occasion was Luci van Org , who unexpectedly came on stage and sang the song for Meine Feinde in a duet with Tima .
In 2007 he was involved in the lavish Baroque decor of the Christian Knorr von Rosenroth Festival in Sulzbach-Rosenberg : "The marriage of Phöbus and Pallas or the invented reproduction of gold" - and actors in the role of Mars . After further roles as Shimmering Jungfrau and Rapunzel, then in 2015 the soubrette Ludmilla Romanova in " Pension Schöller " at the Volksbühne Michendorf .
