Timm Wilke (* 1988 in Brussels ) is a German chemical educationists and professors .

Career

Wilke studied chemistry and French at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from 2007 to 2012 and graduated with a Master of Education . From 2012 to 2015 he worked in Thomas Waitz's group on his dissertation and did his doctorate on the conceptualization of the topic “nano” for chemistry classes. In the meantime, he worked at the Florida Institute of Technology (Melbourne / USA) with Kurt Winkelmann. In 2016 he joined the IPN Kiel , Department of Chemical Didactics ( Ilka Parchmann ) as a visiting scientist and in the same year he was junior professor at the TU Braunschweig . From 2017 he also worked at a Braunschweig grammar school as a chemistry teacher.

In 2019 he was offered a W3 professorship at the Chair of Chemistry Didactics at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena , which he accepted. In addition, he has been visiting professor for chemistry didactics at the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz since 2019 .
