Philana Tinotenda "Tino" Kadewere (born January 5, 1996 in Harare ) is a Zimbabwean football player who plays as a striker for AC Le Havre and the Zimbabwean national team. He can also be used as a midfielder.
Career
society
Kadewere was signed by Harare City FC in 2014 after previously playing for his Prince Edward School high school team . In the first half of his debut season with the first team, he scored seven goals in the Premier Soccer League (Zimbabwe) .
In the summer of 2015, Kadewere took part in trial training with the Swedish first division club Djurgårdens IF and the French Ligue 2 team FC Sochaux . Finally, in August 2015, Djurgårdens IF decided to loan him out for the rest of the season. The club had the option of giving him a four-year contract at the end of the year. On August 29, 2015 he made his debut in the Allsvenskan against Halmstads BK . He later moved permanently to Djurgårdens for a transfer fee of 150,000 euros. Kadewere scored his first league goal for the club on July 25, 2016 in a 3-1 home loss to GIF Sundsvall as a substitute. On May 27, 2018, he scored four goals in a league game against IK Sirius . This made him the first Djurgården player since Tommy Berggren 1978 to score four goals for the club in a league game. This game was also his last for the club.
In July 2018, Kadewere moved to the French club Le Havre in Ligue 2 and signed a four-year contract there. The transfer fee paid to Djurgården was given as 2 million euros. He made his Ligue 2 debut on November 9, 2018 in a 3-2 home win against FC Sochaux. In his first season at Le Havre he was able to play an important role in the team and scored 5 goals in 23 games in the league.
National team
He made his senior debut for the Zimbabwean national soccer team in a 2-0 win over the Comoros . He took part in the 2019 Africa Cup with his home country , but was eliminated in the group stage.
