Tino Schmidt (born October 2, 1993 in Bad Lauterberg im Harz ) is a German soccer player .

Life

Career

Tino Schmidt started his career in the Harz with VfL 28 Ellrich. After four years for VfL 28 Ellrich, he moved to the C-youth team at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . On January 3, 2012, Schmidt was promoted from the A-youth of FC Carl Zeiss to the professional team. On January 21, he was substituted on in the 68th minute of the game against 1. FC Saarbrücken , making his debut in the third division . After 96 games for the first team, Schmidt was bid farewell to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in May 2015. Together with Marius Grösch he moved to the U-23 of 1. FC Kaiserslautern . After 15 games for Kaiserslautern II, he celebrated his professional debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on November 8th, 2015 for 1. FC Kaiserslautern against RB Leipzig . For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Regionalliga Nordost for SV Babelsberg 03 , where he scored eleven goals in 33 appearances. For the 2018/19 season he joined the third division club Sportfreunde Lotte , where he received a contract until 2019. After the contract in Lotte had expired, he moved to FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin in the Regionalliga Nordost .

In addition to his career, he attended the sports high school in Jena .
