Tiquinho (born July 14, 1985 in Sesimbra , actually Fábio André Silva Ferraz ) is a former Portuguese - Angolan football player .

Career

Tiquinho played in the youth of Benfica Lisbon. He was later accepted into the B squad. In 2004 he moved to the Atlantic island of Madeira for the Maritimo association. Here he only played in the second team before moving up into the first team's squad. In the 2007/2008 season he moved to Cyprus to the AEL Limassol club.

With the club he finished eleventh. He was then committed by Anorthosis Famagusta and reached the group stage of the UEFA Champions League with the club in 2008 . It was the first time ever that a Cypriot team reached the group stage. At the beginning of 2009 he left the club again and joined AEK Larnaka . With the club he was relegated at the end of the 2008/09 season . He was hired by league competitor AE Paphos , with whom he also fought to stay in the class.

In summer 2010 Tiquinho joined UD Alzira in the Spanish Segunda División B . He was used 14 times and was relegated to the Tercera División at the end of the 2010/11 season . He then moved to GD Interclube in Angola. During the 2013/14 season he returned to Portugal and played for two lower-class clubs. He ended his career in 2016.

National team

Tiquinho played two international matches for the Angolan national team . On November 14, 2009 he was on the starting line-up in the friendly against the Congo , and on August 10, 2011, he came on as a substitute in the friendly against Liberia .
