Tiquirpaya is a town in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Tiquirpaya is a village in the canton of Ayopaya in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Ayopaya in the province of Ayopaya . The village is located at an altitude of 2980  m four kilometers from the Río Santa Rosa , which flows here in a north-westerly direction, bears the name Río Negro downstream and flows into the Río Cotacajes .
