Course of the road

The Ruta 25 is a national road in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Routing

The road has a length of 481 kilometers and runs in the Yungas region between the two mountain ranges of the Cordillera Real and Cordillera Oriental .

The Ruta 25 runs from northwest to southeast in the eastern part of the La Paz department and in the western part of the Cochabamba department . The road begins as a junction of Ruta 3 at the Unduavi control station northeast of La Paz . Then it leads in a southeasterly direction over the villages Chulumani , Inquisivi and Morochata and empties into the plateau of Cochabamba in Vinto in the Ruta 4 .

The Ruta 25 is not paved, it consists of gravel and dirt road along its entire length.

history

With Ley 2817 of August 27, 2004, the road was declared part of the Bolivian national road network Red Vial Fundamental .
