The Ruta 20 is a national road in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Routing
The road has a length of 81 kilometers and crosses the southeastern part of the Potosí department and the southwestern part of the Chuquisaca department in a west-east direction. The road begins on Ruta 14 near the village of Hornillos , 22 kilometers north of the city of Tupiza , and crosses the almost unpopulated Cordillera de Mochara , where the road overcomes heights of up to 4,300 m . On the eastern side of the ridge, the road passes the village of Impora and ends after 81 kilometers at Ruta 1 at Las Carreras on the Río San Juan del Oro .
The entire length of the Ruta 20 is not asphalted, it consists of gravel and dirt roads.

The Ruta 20 has been declared part of the Bolivian national road network " Red Vial Fundamental " by law 2187 of April 12, 2001 .
