The Ruta 28 is a national road in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Routing

The road has a length of 165 kilometers and leads through the northeastern foothills of the Cordillera de Lípez .

The Route 28 runs from east to west in the western part of the Tarija department and in the southern part of the Potosí department . The road branches off from Ruta 1 in the city of Padcaya and reaches the city of Villazón after 165 kilometers .

The Ruta 28 is paved for the first thirteen kilometers, the rest of the entire length of the route consists of gravel and dirt roads.

history

Ley 2944 of January 27, 2005 declared the road to be part of the Bolivian national road network Red Vial Fundamental .
