The Ruta 15 is a national road in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Routing
The road is only 27 kilometers long and is located in the Bolivian lowlands in the department of Cochabamba and there in the municipality of Puerto Villarroel in the province of Carrasco . It begins in the south as a junction from the Ruta 4 highway at the town of Ivirgarzama and ends in the north in the town of Puerto Villarroel on the left bank of the Río Ichilo . The Ruta 15 is paved for the entire 27 kilometers.
history
The road was declared part of the Bolivian national road network " Red Vial Fundamental " by decree 25.134 of August 31, 1998 and was the shortest of the roads at that time.
