The Ruta 10 is a national road in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Routing

The road has a length of 767 kilometers and crosses the Bolivian lowlands from east to west, from the Brazilian border in the east to the colonization areas north of Santa Cruz between the alluvial plains of Río Grande and Río Piraí . The road only crosses the Santa Cruz Department . It begins in the east as a continuation of the Brazilian route BR-070 near San Matías and ends in the west in the town of San Juan del Piraí (formerly: Colonia Piraí ).

The route from San Matías to San Ignacio consists of unpaved gravel and dirt road, from San Ignacio to San Ramón it is paved, from Los Troncos to Okinawa I it is again unpaved, the rest of Ruta 10 is well developed and paved.

On the 54-kilometer section from San Ramón to Los Troncos , Ruta 10 is interrupted and is signposted here as Ruta 9 , this section is completely paved.

history

The Ruta 10 was declared part of the Bolivian national road network " Red Vial Fundamental " by decree 25.134 of August 31, 1998 .
