Miguillas is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Miguillas is the fourth largest town in the canton of Circuata in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) of Cajuata in the Inquisivi province . The village is located at an altitude of 1067 m in the valley of the Río Cañamina , a right tributary of the Río de la Paz , a tributary to the Río Beni .

Miguillas is located in the Bolivian Yungas on the eastern slope of the high mountain ridge of the Cordillera Real . The climate is a typical time of day climate in which the mean fluctuation in daytime temperatures is more pronounced than the seasonal fluctuations.
The mean average temperature of the region is 23 ° C (see Miguilla's climate diagram), the mean monthly values fluctuate only insignificantly between 20 ° C in June / July and just under 25 ° C in November / December. Miguillas is 196 kilometers by road east of La Paz , the capital of the department of the same name.
From La Paz, the paved road Ruta 3 leads north-easterly 60 kilometers to Unduavi , from there the unpaved Ruta 25 branches off in a south-east direction and leads via Chulumani , Ocobaya , Irupana and La Plazuela into the valley of the Río de la Paz, where it after 136 kilometers reached Miguillas . From there it continues via the villages of Cajuata , Inquisivi and Independencia (Ayopaya) to Vinto , where it meets the Ruta 4 to Cochabamba .
