La Plazuela is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

La Plazuela is the fourth largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Irupana in the Sud Yungas province . The village is located at an altitude of 1209  m in a left, northern side valley of the Río de la Paz , a tributary to the Río Beni .

La Plazuela is located in the Bolivian Yungas on the eastern slope of the high mountain ridge of the Cordillera Real . The climate is a typical time of day climate in which the mean fluctuation in daytime temperatures is more pronounced than the seasonal fluctuations.
