Cañamina is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Cañamina is the fourth largest town in the canton of Circuata in the municipality of Cajuata in the province of Inquisivi and is located at an altitude of 1394 m on the Río Miguillas , a right tributary of the Río de la Paz , which comes from the capital La Paz past the Illimani in a north-easterly direction flows towards the Río Beni .
