Villa Barrientos is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Villa Barrientos is the second largest town in the canton of Circuata in the municipality of Cajuata in the province of Inquisivi and is located at an altitude of 1390 m on the Río Miguillas , a right tributary of the Río de la Paz , which comes from the capital La Paz past the Illimani in the northeast Towards the Río Beni .
